From September 15, the pedestrian crossing will cease to operate at the "Uzhgorod-Vyshnye Niemetske" checkpoint on the border with Slovakia. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
From the middle of September, the checkpoint "Uzhhorod-Vyshnye Niemetske" will operate as usual. The crosswalk that was opened when the full-scale invasion began will no longer work.
It is emphasized that this decision should speed up the passage of buses and vans.
In the future, it will be possible to cross the border by car and bus 24 hours a day at the above-mentioned checkpoint.
Pedestrians and cyclists can use the checkpoints "Maly Selmentsi - Veliki Sementsi" and "Maly Berezny - Ublya".
Work schedule of checkpoints: from 09:00 to 21:00.
