Reserve+ hat eine neue Verschiebung vom Militärdienst hinzugefügt: Wer ist berechtigt?

An update has been introduced in the ‘Reserve+’ app that allows those who are married to a person with a Group I or II disability to obtain a deferral from mobilisation. The app now also offers deferrals for employees of educational institutions. This was announced by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

Deferral for spouses with a disabled person

To take advantage of this option, information about the disability must be registered in the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere or in the database of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. In addition, the marriage must be officially confirmed by an entry in the State Register of Civil Status Acts.

Deferral for employees of educational institutions

It can be obtained by scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers if the Unified State Electronic Database on Education contains:

- a note about the main place of work;

- confirmation of a salary of at least 0.75;

- a note that the person is part of the educational process staff or holds an administrative position related to teaching.

How to apply for a deferral?

1. Open the ‘Reserve+’ app.

2. Click on the three dots on the main screen.

3. Select ‘Submit a request for deferral.’

4. Select the appropriate category.

After the request is processed, the user will receive a notification with the result.

Who else can apply for a deferral through ‘Reserve+’?

Currently, the following categories of citizens can submit requests through ‘Reserve+’:

▪️ Persons with disabilities (if information is available in the relevant state registers);

▪️ Men who have a military medical commission's conclusion of temporary incapacity for service for a period of 6 to 12 months;

▪️ Parents of three or more children under the age of 18, if all children have the same mother, the father is officially indicated in the birth certificates, and the spouses are in a registered marriage;

▪️ Parents or guardians of children with disabilities, regardless of the child's age;

▪️ Persons supporting adult children with disabilities of group I or II;

▪️ Single mothers or fathers;

▪️ Persons with one parent in military service;

▪️ Students, postgraduates and doctoral students who are enrolled in their first educational programme or are pursuing a higher level of education (e.g. after a bachelor's degree — a master's degree).
