In a globalized world, the power of a passport is of considerable importance. It determines how freely citizens of a particular country can travel around the world. The more countries open their borders without visa restrictions, the more influential a country's passport is considered to be.
In 2025, an updated global ranking of the world's most powerful passports was published, reflecting international trust, geopolitical ties, and the level of openness.
What is a strong passport?

- visa-free entry,
- electronic authorization (eTA),

These indicators are important not only for travelers, but also for entrepreneurs, diplomats, students, and anyone who actively interacts with the international community.

Why is this important?
A strong passport is not just convenient for travel. It is:

- a tool for soft diplomacy,
- an advantage for business and study abroad,
- a motivation for developing international partnerships.
Visa-free access to a large number of countries also affects the country's attractiveness to investors and the quality of life of its citizens.
Forecasts for Ukraine
The Ukrainian passport has every chance of strengthening its position in the coming years. Provided that:
- a stable foreign policy course is maintained,
- the war is ended and security is strengthened,
