In June, Lviv gained another landmark space for modern urban life and travel — Tulip Residences Lviv opened in the multifunctional Kristal Plaza complex.

This is the first hotel in Ukraine belonging to the international Louvre Hotels Group, which is represented in 70 countries and manages over 1,700 hotels.

Tulip Residences Lviv is a new format of aparthotel that combines opportunities for work, leisure, and social life.

Joint work of Ukrainian and French specialists

The project was implemented by the development company Galician Construction Guild in cooperation with architects, managers, and consultants from Ukraine. Methodological support was provided by the central office of the Louvre Hotels Group in Paris.

The hotel opened in a soft-opening format, during which the team tests services and operational processes in accordance with international chain standards.

A symbol of international trust in Ukraine

The opening of the hotel in Lviv was a landmark event, demonstrating the city's openness to international initiatives even in the context of war.

The idea to create an international-level apart-hotel in Lviv originated in 2019. Construction was carried out by the Galician Construction Guild (GBG), which signed a franchise agreement with the Louvre Hotels Group in 2021.

In the spring of 2022, the project had to be suspended due to the start of a full-scale invasion, but thanks to the resilience of the team and the support of partners, the project was completed.

"We breathed life into this project. Despite the pandemic, war, and funding challenges, we were able to complete it thanks to our company's reputation and the support of our partners,“ said Alexander Krystofor, head of GBG.

”This is the most modern hotel in the region in the short- and medium-term accommodation segment," added Ivan Lun, technical manager for the hotel's launch.

Louvre Hotels Group emphasizes that Ukraine is not just a market for them, but a partnership with prospects.

“We decided to support the Ukrainian market because we see its potential. We share our experience, digital solutions, and guest programs. Ukraine is a partnership with a future,” emphasized the development director of Louvre Hotels Group in Poland and Ukraine.

Potential for growth

During the opening, representatives of the Investment and Project Management Department of the Lviv City Council, as well as the Tourism Department and the Association of Hotels and Resorts of Ukraine (UHRA) presented Lviv's potential as an investment and tourist platform. This could be a catalyst for the further expansion of international hotel brands in the city.

Tulip Residences Lviv is not only a new hotel location but also a symbol of Lviv's openness to high-quality international projects. The city actively attracts investors and supports new hospitality formats.

“Even during the war, global brands are coming to Ukraine. This is not just a hotel — it is a signal that Lviv is open to the future,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
