The beach season has officially started in Odesa region. Already 12 beaches in the Odesa region, including those in Odesa and Chornomorsk, have received permission to open and welcome vacationers. This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.

"The weather in Odesa region is improving, which means that the recreation season is gradually starting. The Odesa Regional Military Administration has already approved the opening of 12 beach areas, 11 of which are in Odesa and Chornomorsk," the official said.

In addition, the opening of a beach area in the village of Primorskoe, Izmail district, is authorized.

The Head of the DPA also emphasized that the list of beaches authorized for visiting will be further supplemented after passing the relevant inspections.

Along with the permission to swim, the regional authorities emphasize the need to comply with safety rules during the holidays.

In particular, beaches are prohibited during air raid alerts, in case of suspicious objects, and during a storm with a strength of 2 points or more.

This year, vacationing by the sea in Odesa region is possible, but remains special due to the security situation. Therefore, the authorities urge residents and guests of the region to be responsible and attentive while staying on the coast.
