Today, Kamianets-Podilskyi has become the epicenter of tourism initiatives in Ukraine — the city welcomes participants of the press tour “Tourism in the Age of Change,” organized by the Visit Ukraine team in partnership with the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council.

From May 23 to 24, 2025, ten representatives of leading Ukrainian media outlets, travel bloggers, and tourism experts from all over the country arrived in Kamianets-Podilskyi to see for themselves how Ukrainian tourism is changing in these difficult times.

The purpose of the press tour

The main goal of the event is to promote the tourist potential of the Kamianets-Podilskyi region, create new information products about the region, and support the development of domestic and thematic tourism. The focus is on unique locations, local initiatives, and the adaptation of tourism to modern challenges.

A rich program

The press tour is not limited to visiting well-known historical sites. The organizers have prepared a varied program that allows participants to delve into the cultural, gastronomic, and natural heritage of Podillia.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

- take historical tours through the streets of Kamianets-Podilskyi;

- learn about traditional Podillia crafts;

- go kayaking down the Smotrych River canyon;

- taste honey wines at the Medova Bakota location;

- visit a family winery and make your own Podillia souvenir;
