Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced the expansion of its route network with new flights from the Romanian cities of Brasov and Timisoara. From October 2025, travellers, including Ukrainians, will be able to take advantage of convenient air connections that will open up new opportunities for travel in Europe.

New routes from Brasov

The Transylvanian city of Brasov, known for its medieval castles and the legend of Count Dracula, will be the starting point for the new flights. From October 2025, Wizz Air will begin operating flights to two popular European destinations:

✈️ Nuremberg (Germany) – the cultural capital of the Franconia region, with a rich historical heritage.

✈️ Naples (Italy) – a vibrant and picturesque city on the coast, famous for its sights and delicious cuisine.

In addition, flights to London (United Kingdom), Dortmund (Germany) and Budapest (Hungary) are already available from Brasov, significantly expanding the choice for travellers.

New flights from Timisoara

From October 2025, Wizz Air will add five more destinations from Timisoara, located in western Romania. These flights open up new horizons for travellers, including:

✈️ Nuremberg (Germany) – another German city in the flight network.

✈️ Frankfurt-Hahn (Germany) – a convenient airport for travellers in Europe.

✈️ Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (Switzerland, France, Germany) – a unique city popular with tourists.

✈️ Larnaca (Cyprus) – a sunny resort on the Mediterranean Sea.

✈️ Naples (Italy) – also added among the new destinations.

With the expansion of Wizz Air's flight programme, travellers from Romania and Ukraine will be able to enjoy convenient and affordable flights to many European countries.
