Winterferien in Bulgarien: Einreisebedingungen in das Land

On December 20, Bulgaria lifted the ban on tourist trips from Ukraine - the winter season was saved.

Entry rules to Bulgaria

Persons who provide one of the documents are allowed on the territory of the country:

- digital COVID EU vaccination certificate or similar document; or

- digital COVID certificate of the EU on the transferred illness or similar document; or

- EU digital COVID PCR test certificate or similar document.

But please note that Ukrainians have the right to enter with the Diya application or a document printed from the Diya portal. That is, any routine reference from the laboratory or doctor will not be accepted.

Children under 12 years old can freely enter the territory of Bulgaria.

Vaccines that Bulgaria recognizes are AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik V.

Persons who do not provide the required document are quarantined for 10 days. It can be shortened if you do a PCR or rapid antigen test no earlier than 72 hours after arrival in the country. In the event of a negative result of the conducted research, the quarantine of the person shall be considered terminated from the day following the day of receipt of the result.
