Mini Hull is a voluntary policy that provides additional protection to vehicle owners. The main difference between the policy and the well-known motor third party liability insurance is that with Mini Hull, the driver can rely on his insurance not only if he is a victim, but also if he is found to be the culprit of an accident.

In addition to damage as a result of an accident, depending on the chosen package, Mini Hull covers tow truck services, complete destruction of the vehicle as a result of a natural disaster and passive war risks.

Important! The Mini Hull policy is available not only for Ukrainians, but also for foreigners who are planning a trip to Ukraine and want to take care of additional protection on the roads.

War risk insurance for cars: under what conditions can you get a refund

One of the Mini Hull car insurance packages covers damage caused to a car as a result of passive war risks.

Passive risks of war are events that involve the direct use of certain means of destruction by the warring parties. Therefore, you can receive compensation as a result of:

● the use of munitions, including cluster munitions of various types, and their consequences that affected the vehicle;
● falling of manned and unmanned aircraft, guided and unguided missiles, bombs and shells and/or their parts and fragments;
● damage by air/ missile defence systems and their fragments;

● a vehicle hitting a mine, shell, bomb or missile warhead, the impact of which on the vehicle is accidental (except for events in areas that are excluded or designated by the authorities as no-go areas);

Keep in mind that Mini Hull does not cover the use of means of mass destruction (chemical, biological, nuclear) and their consequences.

There are three types of packages available for periods ranging from a month to a year for cars, motorcycles, scooters, trucks, as well as trailers and semi-trailers.

● Economy. Covers losses only in the event of a road traffic accident in the presence of another party to the accident.
