The 2024 Olympics in Paris will start in less than a fortnight. Ukraine will be represented by 140 athletes. Therefore, many Ukrainians will be keeping a close eye on their compatriots who have travelled to glorify their country at such a high level.

Despite the fact that Ukraine has sent the smallest representation in its history to Paris, its athletes have chances to compete for as many medals as possible. Athletes from Ukraine will be represented in 26 sports events.

Who will show the Olympics?

The official broadcaster of the Games in Ukraine will be Suspilne. Free broadcasting of the competitions will be available on the channel "Suspilne Sport" and on local TV channels "Suspilne" ("Suspilne Kyiv", "Suspilne Odessa", etc.).

The number of airtime hours will be at least 200 hours. Four additional streams of the competition broadcasts will be available on the Suspilne website.

The official opening ceremony of the Games will be held on 26 July, and the first broadcast of the Olympics will be the match of the Ukrainian national football team on 24 July against the Olympic team of Iraq.

Where to watch the Olympics on the big screen?

On the 24th of July in Kiev on the territory of VDNKh the fan-zone of the Olympic Games will open. There it will be possible not only to watch live broadcasts of events at the Olympic Games-2024, but also to attend a number of various sporting events. In particular, sports locations, autograph sessions with athletes will be prepared for fans, and a children's sports camp will be open.

In addition, there will be an opportunity to play with football stars in 3-on-3 format.

The Olympic location at VDNKh will be open daily until 4 August. The schedule of the fan zone can be found on the website of the Ministry of Sport of Ukraine.

By the way, it will be possible to support Ukrainian athletes in person in Paris. However, many tickets for the competition are already sold out, but there will also be available fan zones where fans can have fun.
