F-16-Kampfflugzeuge auf dem Weg in die Ukraine: wann sie am ukrainischen Himmel erscheinen werden

The process of delivering US F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine has already started. The first aircraft are on their way to the country and will arrive there very soon. When the fighter jets will appear in the skies over Ukraine and what other help to expect from the allies, we tell you in this material.
During a meeting on the margins of the NATO summit, U.S. President Joe Biden, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and Danish Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen discussed that "the process of transfer of these F-16s is ongoing" and Ukraine will start using these fighters this summer.
At the same time, the leaders declined to talk about the deliveries in more detail.
"With US support, the governments of Denmark and the Netherlands are in the process of transferring US-made F-16s to Ukraine. The F-16 transfer process is already underway and Ukraine will fly combat F-16s this summer," the document claimed.
They also promised to "continue to act in a coordinated manner to support Ukraine's ability to defend itself against russian aggression."

What other aid will Ukraine receive?
The 75th NATO summit is coming to an end in Washington, where the member states have already discussed many important topics on Ukraine.
In particular, in the final document, the North Atlantic Alliance reaffirmed its determination to support Ukraine in developing a force capable of defeating Russian aggression and deterring it in the future. In this regard, the bloc promises to provide Ukraine with a minimum funding of 40bn euros next year.
The allocated funds can be used for expenses related to the provision of military equipment, assistance and training to Ukraine, namely:
- for the purchase of military equipment;
- material assistance;
- costs related to the maintenance, logistics and transport of military equipment for Ukraine;
- military training costs for Ukraine;
- operational costs associated with the provision of military support to Ukraine;
- investments in and support for Ukraine's defence infrastructure and defence industry;
- all contributions to NATO trust funds for Ukraine, including non-lethal assistance.
In addition, it was decided to establish the Security Assistance and Training Service for Ukraine (NSATU) to coordinate the delivery of military equipment and training. It aims to put Ukraine's security assistance on a sound footing by providing enhanced, anticipated and co-ordinated support.
NSATU will operate in alliance countries. It will support Ukraine's self-defence in accordance with the UN Charter. At the same time, NATO will not become a party to the conflict.
We remind you! Rustem Umerov urged Ukrainians in Europe to join the Ukrainian Legion, which will train in Poland. Read about the benefits of joining and the importance of this initiative for Ukraine's defence capability here.
