Nicht nur für die Frontlinie: In welche Kategorien werden die mobilisierungsfähigen Ukrainer eingeteilt?

Bereits im Mai wird die Ukraine eine Reihe von Regeln für die Mobilisierung in die Armee ändern. Insbesondere wird das Land den Status der eingeschränkten Einsatzfähigkeit abschaffen. Somit werden potenzielle Wehrpflichtige nun in "einsatzfähig" und "nicht einsatzfähig" eingeteilt. Die Kategorie "einsatzfähig" wird jedoch nicht nur das Senden an die Front bedeuten. The status of "partially fit" for military service will soon be cancelled in Ukraine. In this regard, the military medical commission will be able to put only two stamps - "fit" and "unfit". Here are the categories of "fit" citizens that will be introduced.

Those who are found fit for military service by the commission will be divided into several categories depending on their degree of functionality.

Here are the categories that will be introduced:

🔻fit (fully);

🔻fit for service in a higher military educational institution (HEI), in the TCC and JV, support units, institutions, organisations, but not fit for service in the Air Force, Marines, Special Forces, Special Forces, floating stock, etc;

🔻suitable for certain specialities (for example, candidates for admission to universities);

🔻 suitable for performing specific tasks.

In addition, amendments to the Regulation on Military Medical Expertise in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently being finalised, namely the diseases and criteria for which a person is unfit or fit. 

In each group of diseases, depending on the degree of dysfunction, a person liable for military service may be fully fit or unfit. For example, in the case of an ulcer without surgical intervention, a person will be fit. If there was a surgical intervention, he will be unfit.

When will the rules come into effect?

The law, which provides for the cancellation of the status of "partially fit", will come into force on 4 May. This means that the medical commission will have to be passed anew in order to obtain a new status.

In general, the new law on mobilisation will come into full force on 18 May. This document regulates a number of mobilisation rules, in particular for the military, persons liable for military service and people currently abroad.
