It was created according to the principles of medieval defense architecture. The castle has four levels, on which three castles are located: Lower, Middle and Upper or Old Castle (Acropolis).

Throughout its history, the fortress was the residence of many princes and rich barons. Today, there are historical and local history museums, painting and carving exhibitions are held here.

● Carpathian thermal baths – Transcarpathia is the leader in Ukraine in terms of the number of balneological resorts, as there are more than 50 thermal springs of various types of mineralization. ● Craft wines – Transcarpathia is a traditional region of viticulture and winemaking in Ukraine. Transcarpathian winemaking culture is unique because it combines Hungarian, Italian and Austrian traditions. It was the result of this cultural fusion that gave such an interesting and colorful product as Transcarpathian wine.

  The Château Chizai wine complex, which was founded in 1995 in the Chizai tract, near the city of Berehove, is quite popular here.
