ITB Berlin can easily be called the main exhibition in the field of tourism, because the whole world meets here. About 10,000 companies from 180 countries and regions take part in the event every year.

ITB Berlin 2024 takes place from March 5 to 7. Visit Ukraine also participates in the event with a new and interesting goal, we say.

Why is ITB Berlin a key event in the world of international tourism?

International Tourism Exchange Berlin is the most important event of the tourism industry. The fair has been held since 1966. Every year, hotels, tourist boards, tour operators, system providers, airlines and car rental companies participate in it. The wide range of offers makes ITB an important B2B platform where industry partners meet. As part of the event, tourist trends for the coming year are formed.

In 2024, more than 5,500 exhibitors from 170 countries and regions took part in the event held at the Berlin Exhibition Center. The exhibition is held under the slogan "Pioneer the Transition in Travel & Tourism. Together". It is planned that a lot of attention will be paid to the development of artificial intelligence and its impact on the world of tourism.

Visit Ukraine mission at ITB Berlin 2024

In 2024, the Ukrainian stand is represented by the State Tourism Development Agency, several cities (Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Uzhhorod), as well as specialized associations, including the Visit Ukraine team.

As part of ITB Berlin 2024, we plan to expand the partner network among travel companies and services to promote travel to Ukraine worldwide.

The goal of the Visit Ukraine team is to meet with online travel services and agree on integration with our web resource, because our project is currently actively moving from the status of an information portal to a service platform on which every user can order a travel service online - quickly, conveniently and clearly.

We are sure that after our victory in the war, many foreign tourists will want to visit Ukraine, so we are already making sure that as many people as possible learn about the opportunities to visit Ukraine.

During the event, the Visit Ukraine team also held a raffle of our branded merchandise! Participants representing projects from Poland and Italy became the lucky recipients of T-shirts with Ukrainian symbols.
