Ukraine has launched the Army+ application, which is supposed to save servicemen from paperwork and give them the opportunity to submit reports online. But this is not all the functionality of the application.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the launch of the app, noting that Army+ starts with basic functions, but it will be supplemented with new features.

Army+ should overcome bureaucracy

As noted by Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov, "Army+" will 

will simplify the lives of our defenders and protectors, removing unnecessary bureaucracy and tonnes of paperwork.

"In the first version of the app, 11 types of reports are available and Army ID - this is a unique ID number of a military man, thanks to which he can send reports for signature. And there will also be polls in the app - so the state will be able to quickly find out the opinion of our defenders and protectors on any issue," he said.

What functions in Army+ will be available first?

In an interview with the publication, Ekaterina Chernogorenko said that the priority of the Ministry of Defence team is human-centricity, and therefore the shortlist of the first options was formed based on a survey among the military and the public. Thus, the first functionality, around which all other services will be born, will be the military ID - an electronic military ID card.

The next important part of the application's functionality will be an electronic report, knowledge base and feedback form. The first will allow you to submit a document in a few clicks and track feedback, the second - to receive useful information, and the third - to send standard and individual requests.

The services in the app will also be available for military family members. Namely:

- Monetary allowances for prisoners and the deceased

- Burial assistance

- Missing servicemen

- Medical care and sanatorium treatment

- Benefits and state aid

The app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.

Will military personnel who do not serve in the AFU be able to use the application?

Earlier, Deputy Defence Minister Kateryna Chernogorenko said that the primary target audience is the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but a gradual integration is envisaged. Therefore, the Ministry of defence hopes that later electronic military certificates will be able to get all security and defence forces.
