Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that since the beginning of the full-scale war, financial, humanitarian and military support from the European Union has reached almost 85 billion euros. He emphasized this at a briefing with the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

"We are grateful for the financial, humanitarian and military assistance. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, this support has amounted to almost 85 billion euros," emphasized Shmyhal.

According to Borrell, the total amount of assistance provided since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion has amounted to 88 billion euros, of which 28 billion euros is military support.

He also emphasized that military assistance will continue in the future. 

Due to the projected annual decline in financial support for Ukraine from international partners, the National Bank of Ukraine predicts that the country will receive $37 billion in financial assistance this year, but this amount will decrease in the following years. 

In 2023, Ukraine received $43 billion in international financial assistance. 

Borrell previously reported that in the two years since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, the European Union and its member states have provided Ukraine with military equipment, weapons and ammunition worth 28 billion euros, and in 2024 the amount of such assistance will be 21 billion euros. 

As you know, the first tranche of the €50 billion Ukraine Facility program is expected to arrive in Ukraine in March.
