According to Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation, verification will help track down potential overbuying. After all, in order to buy or return a ticket, you will need to put an electronic signature through Diia. In this case, any account with suspicious activity (a large number of booked tickets, and after their mass return) will be thoroughly checked and, if violations are detected, the user will be blocked.

"Account verification through Diia.Signature will allow us to track potential touts and block their accounts after verification. The account will be marked accordingly, and the user will not be able to buy tickets for the Kyiv - Warsaw train and return them online, even if they uninstall the app and try to pass verification through another device," the statement said.

What is Diia.Signature and how to get it: instructions

Diia.Signature is a qualified electronic signature. To activate it, you need to have at least one of the biometric documents in Diia: ID card, passport or residence permit.

To create a Diia.Signature:

1. Open the Diia app.

2. Go to Menu - Diia .Signature

3. Click Activate Diia .Signature

4. Confirm your identity (through photo verification) 

5. Create a 5-digit code for Diia.Signature.

How to buy a ticket through Diia?

In order to buy a ticket for the train Kyiv - Warsaw - Kyiv, open the Ukrzaliznytsia app and:

1. select the train №67/68 Kyiv-Warsaw

2. confirm your identity via Diia.Signature

3. select a carriage and seat
