A significant number of young people in Ukraine have expressed a desire to stay in their place of residence and take an active part in the country's reconstruction. This is evidenced by the results of a national youth survey conducted on behalf of the International Republican Institute as part of the USAID "Dreaming and Acting" program.
The survey was conducted by the Rating Sociological Group in Poland and Info Sapiens in Ukraine on behalf of the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX). The survey data were analyzed by the Center for Analysis and Sociological Research (CISR) of the International Republican Institute.

As for Ukrainian youth in Poland, 65% said they had volunteered, and 45% made financial donations at least once a month.
