Despite the terrible war in Ukraine today, the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing and there are still some restrictions in many countries. Proof of vaccination may be required to visit public places.


The following is information on how to get vaccinated for COVID-19 in different countries.


🇵🇱 Poland

Available vaccines


Johnson & Johnson (single dose)

Moderna (two doses with an interval of 28 days)

Oxford/AstraZeneca (two doses with an interval of 28 days)

Pfizer/BioNTech (two doses at 21-day interval)

The full course of vaccination in Poland is considered valid 14 days after the last dose of the vaccine.


Necessary documents:


identity document - for example, passport, temporary identity card (TZTC)


Registration procedure


Contact the nearest clinic, write an application and get registered. The registry will provide you with the contact information of the therapist, information about medical services.


The doctor issues a referral for vaccination through the application salon.gov.pl. In the "Patient data" ("Dane pacjenta") field, select "Another identifier" ("Inny identifyfikator") (instead of "PESEL number") and enter the document number used by the foreigner.


Having an e-referral, you can register for vaccination in one of the two ways:

When registering, do not forget to indicate the document number indicated on the e-referral!


🇷🇴 Romania

Available vaccines


Johnson & Johnson (single dose)

Moderna (two doses with an interval of 28 days)

Oxford / AstraZeneca (two doses with an interval of 28 days)

Pfizer / BioNTech (two doses at 21-day interval)

The full course of vaccination in Romania is considered valid 14 days after the last dose of the vaccine.


Necessary documents:


- passport;

- fill in the questionnaire at the place of vaccination with personal data (surname and name, passport number, country);


Registration procedure


On the official website of the Romanian government you will find a map of all vaccination points - with the exact address and information about available vaccines.


🇸🇰 Slovakia

Vaccines are available

Moderna (two doses with an interval of 28 days)

Oxford / AstraZeneca (two doses with an interval of 28 days)

Pfizer / BioNTech (two doses at 21-day interval)

Sputnik V (two doses with an interval of 21 days-3 months)

The full course of vaccination in Slovakia is considered valid 14 days after the last dose of the vaccine.

The site is available only in Slovakia, so it will not open in Ukraine.

Details of the vaccination for foreigners are currently unknown.

IMPORTANT: vaccination in the Czech Republic for foreigners is not free and costs approximately 400 kroons / 15 euros (price depends on the point of vaccination)
