The "Kyiv Digital" mobile application has an English-language version for foreign users. This was reported to the Kyiv City State Administration.
What has changed in the English version?
In the updated version of the application, login from foreign phone numbers (except Russian) was added. Alerts, strikes and curfew notifications will be in English.
Added an option to choose the language version: English or Ukrainian on the application login screen. Users can change the language in their profile.
The Kyiv City State Administration stressed that Kyiv Digital is not an exact copy of the Ukrainian-language version of the application. This is a special version for foreign residents and guests of the city, which combines the main services, useful contacts and funds to support Ukraine.
In particular, the English version also has the services of paying for parking, tracking traffic, topping up a transport card and QR tickets. Users of the English version will also receive notifications about air strikes and strikes, curfew reminders and can view a map of shelters.
In addition, a metro scheme and tickets for "Ukrzaliznytsia" trains were added especially for foreigners.
In the future, the English-language version of "Kyiv Digital" will continue to be developed based on user feedback.
